What we do

Services

Here are some examples of the types of services we offer, if you need something different but it's sound related, we may still be able to help you

Podcast Editing

Podcasts have never been so popular. We are currently offering a remote recording, editing and publishing service. We can record the audio over the internet with specialized podcast software so you don't have to leave your home

Live Sound

Obviously during these challenging times there isn't much demand for this service. We will be ready and waiting when things return to normal

Studio Recording

We are only working remotely at present due to the pandemic, this service will be offered in the future

What we use

Equipment

This is the equipment we are currently using, for hire equipment, see our 'for hire' section

Mics

Pair of AKG C414’s

Various Shure SM58’s and 57’s

1 x Rode NT1000

1 x Samson GoMic for remote podcasting

Hardware

We have a Focusrite Rednet MP8R at the heart of the studio. This gives us 8 channels at 24-bit, 192kHz sampling rate with very low latency.

For mixing, either the APC40 or the Yamaha 03D digital console.

For outboard signal processing the DBX Professional Audio 1066 Compressor/Limiter/Gate

Roland TD-11 V Drums

Lots of other instruments

Software

We use Ableton Live 10 and Max MSP for audio.

Adobe Premier Pro for video editing.

Zencastr for remote podcast capture.

Podbean for podcast hosting.

Feedback (hold your ears!)
We’ve used lots of different in-house engineers for our live show, but we were really impressed with the sound that Jimi gave us at the Loco Klub
